The fast one.

Excuse my obscenity, but that is "bitchin.'"

It is certainly the fast one.

Great composition, but ... I'm not seeing it jive with the footage. The impression I get from the music is that she is movin along quite quickly, finding facts, researching, putting together clues, making progress, getting a lot done, and so forth. Would work great with most other episodes, as they do lots of research montages and phone calls and stuff, but Emily's episode doesn't really have those scenes in it.

Her excitement is less 'gettin stuff done' and more happy/jovial/curious/creative - all wrapped up in a kind of care-free dancin spirit that is in love with everything, and looking forward to the fun unknown over the next few days.

So... those are my thoughts. Love to hear what the other 3 producers think, and what areas Chris can envision this working with.

Are you thinking it needs another slow-er piece?

Unknown said...

No. not another slow piece. the one you made already is perfect.

It should still be the 'fast one' but just something I can keep up with a bit easier. Maybe something I can dance to.

That's what I think.

Micah you're wonderfully talented. For the record.

Kendall says: back away from some of the Western overtones and conventions (key changes) and push more towards Andrew Byrd ("In the Basement" version of tenuousness) and Fleet Foxes ("White Winter Hymnals").
