I like it, but I would say it could use a little less high treble and a bit more sense of motion, especially in the lower register. A bit more of a contained rumble and rhythm. I wouldn't overdo it because i like the sense of uncertainty this has and how it has a bit of a vintage vibe, just maybe think of the phoenix reference track and split the difference. just a nudge back that way. then lets have more of a difference to a release. you've got a the note climbing and climbing and at the 1 min mark it comes to a drop, but, as an example, maybe we keep it climbing and climbing, more anticipation and tension build it and build it and then have a bigger release into something that feels 'faster'. essentially, I think, since there's so much motion in the lower end, that release and speed can come from the the melodic lines suddenly gaining freedom; bouncing and weaving with a ton of lightness, at the same rates and along with the pulse only with more poetry. I like the idea of those high notes feeling more fluid between each other. not clean discrete tones, but bending and sliding into each other...think something between the reference track and Bach's cello prelude no. 1 at the end when that note climbs and climbs and then that fluid string of notes just rolls out like a revelation. so we really feel a moment of release and a payoff liberation. something with about half that mix of vintage and modern too.

thanks man. keep it up. we're always really impressed by the stuff you send. and I think this track is in the right mood range to fit in the episode, so I don't want to get you too off of that, but I do kinda feel like it needs a bit more exuberance and edge, and also a bigger payoff.

I look forward to it :) thanks again.

I think it's beautifully composed, but not what the episode needs. I think we need something with much more momentum/energy, less pondering, less epicness, more fun or exploratory.

I'm sick of strings. I'd prefer something with less emphasis on strings.

I love micah and his raw talent though!

Kendall says he'd like you to try to fit in a 'new england feel' somehow. That will be up to your interpretation. He says maybe some hint of 'pub dancing music'.

Again, just some feel of it through your interpretation- we aren't looking for an irish jig.
